Since updating to version 15, I've been getting crashes everyday in the middle of editing. It happens randomly and I don't think I'm doing anything specific. Maybe it could be related to trimming videos or text but I'm not sure.
When the crash happens, I get a series of errors. I've attached them in order: error_1, error_2, error_3. Premier closes after I click OK on error_3.
I've tried updating my graphics card driver and also to the latest 15.2.0 version but nothing seems to help. I didn't have any problems in version 14.
My PC is running Windows 10 20H2 on the following hardware:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x processor
AMD RX580 graphics
16GB RAM

Thanks for the response. The crash happens with all my project files. I've worked on more than 20 different ones since the crashes started happening.
Unfortunately I've tried the suggestions (delete cache, reset preferences) but none helped. I also checked the crash report directory and there are no recent files there.
I did save a .dmp file when it asked me if I wanted to report the crash to Adobe. Unfortunately the forum does not allow me to upload .dmp files...

Hi satomiw58125973,
I understand you mentioned that it's happening with multiple projects but I am curious about what happens if you remove the file that's mentioned in the first error? Also, what are the properties (frame rate, frame size, format/codec) and source of that footage?
Let us know, we're here to help.
Thanks,
Nishu

Hi,
I cannot delete the file in the first error as that is the footage I'm working on...
Regarding the properties of the content:
Frame rate: 59.94
Frame size: 1920x1080
Format/codec: mp4/h264 MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Source: Not sure what this means, it was recorded originally with a Canon camera
