I use Adobe Premiere Pro 2024...

And my NVMe 500GB C:/ SSD fills and becomes out of space, well after investigating, I found Previews at:
C:\Users\NLE\Desktop\Projects\Premiere\Adobe Premiere Pro Video Previews\
The problem
Well, since having an NVMe 2TB D:/ disk extra for storage, how to set/relocate this folder to the D:/ NVMe extra disk

File > Project Settings > Scratch Disk

You can only set one disk at a time.

Thanks for your reply!

I will check on soon...

So you mean this setting can have only one location? Correct?

Also, if set it once, future Projects, will continue to be in this location, ... unless change it... correct?

If change Previews location, old data of Previews will copied to the new location?

Those are all "sticky". So yes, set all cache types where you want them and they will go there in the future.

As Ann mentioned - you can only define your VIdeo Previews to be in one location. See in Scratch disks you define location for Video, Audio Previews, MOGRT Templates etc. You can define these per project if you want to, but in my case I have a dedicated internal NVMe project drive so store project and previews on that disk within a Project subfolder each time.

That way I can see all relevant files dedicated to a particular project.

Captured Video and Audio is from Tape based media days (not used), all my project Video / Audio Digital Media is on another internal SSD.

As per screenshot,

Can i set up the Previews & Cache folder "Same as Project",

So, if a project on C:/ all go on C:/ and if another Project on E:/ all go on E:/... correct?

Yes you can do,  but I always stick with using my dedicated 'Project' disk which is a 1TB NVMe.

I personally keep System C drive for SW Apps and Windows operating system only.

You can then track/find project files in one disk and each folder you create on that disk can hold all your specific Project Files. That's just a method I have used for some time.

So, I: set up the Previews & Cache folder "Same as Project", and all others also set folder "Same as Project", and created the Project in my extra NVMe separate from OS NVMe, after importing to the Project some RAW material recorded - video, music, photos - all will go to this extra NVMe? Or, if imported from a USB Stick or SD card, do I have to COPY FIRST to my extra NVMe after import to Premiere 2024 Project?

Previews can be set up to delete automatically if it passes 1 month, If yes, how can we do this?

By @lsepolis

No.

Copy to NVME then import from NVME drive.

You would need a third party app for that.

So,  after starting Adobe Premiere Pro 2024, and creating a new project:

I have to COPY FIRST to my extra NVMe the Raw Assets like Video rec shots, photo shoots, and audio, ...,  after copying,  import them to Premiere 2024 Project. Do you recommend these files be in the same directory as xyz.prproj file but in a subfolder for each type of asset, and after import inside the Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 Project?

Also, here...

File > Project Settings > Scratch Disk

setting all to

e.g. D:/ my extra NVMe 2TB D:/ disk extra for storage

D:/Premiere2024/cache/

Then, this setting applies to all new future Premiere Pro 2024 projects by default if not modified....?

By @lsepolis

You should check each project.  It may not default to that.
