Don't know if this is a bug or user error.
Basically I've roto'd some stuff in After Effects, and brought the rendered animation MOV files into Premiere. This has always worked well for my workflow. But on a recent project -- I've now figured out that if I leave Premiere and come back to the project -- that when I come back to PR, the roto files preview and render with these weird green and magenta halos around the subject. I've been re-rotoing and importing and for previous rounds of revisions -- this has been getting me through, but want to figure a more permanent solution to my problem.
If I change the color space from Rec 709 to one of the other two -- the halos go away. (This also messes up the color correction ive done to multiple clips from multiple camera sources.)
If I bring the MOV back into AE (and put a light background) behind the alphaless video -- the halos are not there.
So this SEEMS like a PR interpreting the AE render in a weird way -- maybe with queued previews? But that doesnt explain why it the final render is off.
It's only when I bring a roto in, leave the file, and come back i've noticed this problem.
Attached are the PR previews with the halos, and what it looks like when I bring the rendered MOV back into AE just to preview. With the halos missing. (it looks similar when I just change the color space iN PR)

Are you dynamic linking the AE comps or are you rendering MOVs with alpha from Ae thenn importing those into Premiere?
