AEVideoFilter:11 keeps appearing

I'm trying to apply a lighting effect to a clip and although it has been working well, suddenly I keep getting an AEVideoFilter:11 message everytime I try to edit the lighting, and the footage freezes and doesn't;t change when I move frames. Within the same project I don't have any other problems, this is just an issue with the lighting effects. Could anyone please offer some help? Thanks.

Is it just one clip or does it freeze on other clips too?

Lighting effect is non gpu accelarated it does take some horsepower to work with.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Interestingly enough, when I imported the same clip again and applied the effect I didn't have the same issue. I've noticed a pattern that when the OG clip is rendered (green) I can adjust the effect but as soon as I do it becomes red and the error message popped up again. The new clip is still red but I can freely edit the effect.

What does non gpu accelerated mean? I'm quite new to premiere pro so I would appreciate a brief explanation. Thanks 🙂
