So I was trying to do an effect in after effects on a clip I have in premiere pro. I right clicked on the clip in Premiere Pro and selected "replace with after effects composition". It opens after effects, but it opens it as a blank project. It doesn't pull up the selected clip I exported from Premiere Pro. It just gives me option in after effects of "New Compostition" or "New Composition from footage". When I click "New Composition from footage", nothing happens. If I click "New Compostion", it just opens a new AE project as if I didn't select the new clip. Then when close AE, it automatically reopens. Then when I close it again, premiere pro gives an error message that says "The importer reported a generic error".
