All Audio replaced with Loud Static in version 15.1

If anyone has run across the random gigantic audio static created in a sequence.  The key to resolving this is to downgrade back to version 15.0.  We've had three different editors within a week encounter this.  Editing is fine and dandy and then one day, you open your project and beholllllld....static has been introduced into every audio clip within one or all sequences.  You'll check the source file and it's nice and clean and you'll try dumping prefs, or creating new project and pasting the troubled sequence in it but don't bother....just downgrade.  

Maybe 15.2.1 will fix it?????
