Allow me to turn off premier errors.

Premier insists on throwing errors all the time.  It does it when i add a marker to a clip saying " The file is busy and couldn't be updated!" with a red exclamation mark.  Nevertheless. the marker is there and seems to function properly.  That said, premier keeps throwing up a red pop up box which is distracting.  it interrupts workflow to have it pop up every time you drop a marker.  

If you can't fix the actual bug - which has existed since at least 2018 - ugh ! - let us turn off the error pop ups.

Ideally do both, because this software is as buggy as a cricket farm.

While you're at it, add Autosequence functionality to throw clips on a timeline by timecode.  The software is called pro after all.

That's important behavior, which PPro will continue to exhibit, when it is prevented from normal function.

Important question: What process is accessing your media files, while you're editing?!

@defaultv51vi6e0dq3b could you check your Preferences > Media and see if "Write clip markers to XMP" is turned on? If it is, that means when you add a marker Premiere Pro tries to also write it into the media file's metadata directly. I'm guessing that's what is trying to happen, and something is failing in the process (like the operating system tells Premiere Pro that the file is busy).

If you don't need your markers written into the media files, then just uncheck this setting.
