Animate opacity

In Premiere Pro, in the Source Monitor under "Editing," there used to be an option to animate opacity from four directions: top-down, bottom-up, left-to-right, and right-to-left. (This was great to reveal titles gradually.) I no longer see this option in Source Monitor. How can I bring it back?

I think you have got your lingo somewhat mixed up...........

In the Effect Controls under Motion there is the crop feature.

Post screenshot of entire panel and show what is missing.

Might want to check the Filter Properties (bottom right).

In every panel you will find its name on the top left.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I meant crop and not opacity. With Ann's help, I found the menu.
