Annoying UI-Bug in 2021

Working with 2 Monitors on a powerful station...though I'm running into problems with this trash software everytime I try to work on projects.

Playhead stuck, can't click on any clip until I hit ctrl+s or some other actions, the usual Cross-Dissolve problem, clips that I try to cut suddenly aren't showing anymore update until I end my "stretch" on that clip...

Freaking annoying problems that shouldn't even be discussed that often for a major software like this.

Please fix this or make your programs like premiere pro "Free-to-use", 'cause other free programs doin better than yours....

I tried to edit video last night myself.  I edit once a week.  Something has changed and now I can't even use the software.
