app keeps crashing while doing subtitles

The subtitles are really a huge nightmare with this app--it's a cool feature in concept but it's not working properly. The app lags a lot when I try to edit subtitles and it constantly crashes when I'm working on them. It doesn't crash when I'm working on anything else~

the app also isn't even offering a 'crash report' thingy that it normally does...?
