Hi there,
I've seen a lot of Apple Silicon glitch reports (particularly on export) even from a few months ago. However, it's hard to understand if they've been fixed without resorting to Rosetta as of Jan 2023.
Does any one know if Premiere and built-in effects are all native and production-ready?
Cheers, Ben

Hi, csscms,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are concerned about the development of Premiere Pro on ARM Macs. I have the following documentation for the latest news from Adobe's perspective: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/premiere-pro-for-apple-silicon.html.
From an editor's perspective, I love my ARM MacBook Pro. However, historically, hardware shifts of this magnitude can take quite a long time to completely sort out, so patience is required during this process. I recall when Macs changed from Motorola to Intel CPUs, and it took software devs (from Avid, Adobe, and others) some time to react. Similarly, the initial shift from OS9 to OS X was very disruptive to the editing community and took a few years to stabilize.
I hope the info and perspective help.
Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin, fully appreciate the magnitude of the change! But while I could see a lot of expected issues (that were show stoppers for me) I couldn't see obvious confirmation they were fixed so thanks for clarifying.
So beyond the specific issues in the KB article, things are now running well on Apple Silicon - yes?
Cheers, Ben
