Asking about Setting Custom Shortcuts for Number Pad Keys in Premiere Pro on a MacBook Pro

I use a MacBook Pro and have connected an external keyboard that includes a number pad. I’d like to assign specific Premiere Pro shortcuts to the number pad keys. However, I’m having trouble doing this. Could you guide me through the process?

Is there a specific setting in Premiere Pro to recognize the number pad keys for custom shortcuts? Or do I need to make adjustments on my MacBook’s system settings?
