Hi...
My first time posting here.
The new update is distorting my audio when I export.
I will speed up my voice (recorded in Premiere) by 10% in Adobe Audition and then export the video in Premiere Pro.
With the new update... any audio that was edited in Audition becomes distored.
All other audio is fine.
Additionally, a work around is going through Media Encoder.
Hope that helps and this bug can be resolved
Thanks

And now it doesn't work with Media Encoder either.
What is going on?

Okay. Just following up. Is this community in any way useful? Or should I just try calling Adobe?
Anyone?

Media encoder update fixed that part. Premiere Pro is still broken.

Checking in again. Anyone from Adobe here? Or is this just a place to post bugs that no one sees?

This is primarily a user-to-user forum. With some staffer monitoring and participation.
So ... a topic that doesn't fit in the knowledgebase of one or more of us volunteers tends to fall through the cracks. There aren't many that do, but this has been one.
@Matt_Stegner ... any ideas here?

Ah. Okay. Thanks. Is there a "report bug" feature that Adobe would pay attention to?
Or are we just to wait and hope and pray?

I just tried this and, trying to follow what you are describing, I was unable to see any issues.
Maybe you can add screen recording showing what you are doing so I can get a bug created?

Thanks.
Here's a screen capture so you can see and hear what I do as well as what it comes out like when I export.
Again... this JUST happened with the new update.
Going through Media Encoder worked, then didn't work, then the latest update fixed it... so it works again.

Just following up. It's been 7 days since Adobe Premiere's update that had this bug in it. Any news?

10 days and STILL won't work

I listened to the phone recording on my tablet, and actually, both sounded identical. I might be able to load this on my main system later, have to see if I have time.
I do note that the audio meters on the right of the screen are running quite high ... what dB level do you normally use?

Thanks. They're nowhere near identical.
Exported Test.mp4 shows the distortion from the bug.
Screen Recording.mp4 shows how it SHOULD sound.

Just to respond to your db question. As you could see in the video I had posted on the dropbox... the levels are fine.
I record directly into premiere and haven't really had any problems.

It's just the latest update that's buggy. Is there any chance we can get someone at Adobe to fix this ASAP?

Following up. Still no fix for this bug. Surely I'm not the only one using Adobe Premiere and Audition together. Am I?

Personally, I can't replicate.

Well. I appreciate you trying.
It's been consistent in replicating every day for the last 2 weeks.
I've been able to replicate it with new files every day as I make videos each day.
Exporting the audio ONLY to an MP3 is the ONLY way I can get it to work.
Have you tried recording dialogue in Adobe Premiere and then right clicking the dialogue track in your timeline and going to EDIT CLIP IN AUDITION?
In Audition, you SPEED UP the audio by 110% and SAVE
Go back to premiere and the audio should be a bit shorter.
Try saving that out as a video and see.

Following up again. The bug is still there and I have to work around it every single day.

Still buggy. Every day. Has anyone else heard from Adobe? Do they listen to this site at all?
Is there a number to call?

@Kevin-Monahan ... I can't replicate, can you help?

Please export to a video and let me know if you're getting the error like this
