Audio effect - subtle clarity - frozen Premiere

Not sure if its just me, but when after I add some subtle clarity to my audio track PR freezes and I get the color wheel of doom.  This has only happened to me since the latest update 22.2
Anyone else have this issue?

We're sorry to hear about this. Is this happening with any specific clip/project or all of them? Also, let us know the audio effect that you are using & the system specs (OS, CPU, GPU & RAM).

Hi there,
This is with everything, my work around was to install prior to the newest
update.
The effect is 'Subltle Clarity' and system specs are as follows - Mac
Monterey v12.0.1, I'm using a 2019 macbook pro 16" with a 2.6GHZ 6-Core
Intel Core i7 with 16GB 2667 MMHz DDR4 ram. The graphics card is AMD
Radeon Pro 5300M 4 GB.
