Hello!
So, I'm currently using a Windows 10 PC which has an i7 7700 CPU, a GTX 1050ti, and 16GB of ram to edit on PP (I know it's not ideal but it can definetly do for now). It's the workstation I currently have at work until the new machine arrives in a few weeks. But something is definetly not right here. When using the new AI Audio Enhancer feature, this tool is simply not using ANY of the cpu or the gpu installed. Task manager says PP is using 0% gpu and 1% cpu while the enhance speech effect is processing the audio. Could it be that it needs the latest gen of cpu or gpu and it won't even attempt to work with older hardware? This doesn't seem right. I mean, the logical thing would be for PP to max out cpu and gpu, and if the machine is slow even at 100% usage, then too bad, right? But that's not what's happening, I'm using what's supposed to be a cpu intensive tool and the fan is barely kicking in.
Anyone have any idea why this could be?
PP is installed on an SSD while the footage and the project are located in two separate HDDs.
Thanks in advance!
-Pablo
@Pablo San95 Does the Enhance Speech finish and work? Or does it not complete?

Hello, @Pablo San95,
I appreciate you filing a bug on this issue. You already provided some great info, however, the team would need more info to reproduce the bug.
Can you please note the format of a preferred bug report here? How do I write a bug report?
A response to @mattchristensen's questions would be valuable, as well.
I hope the team can nail down the issue and provide a fix ASAP with just a bit more info. Have a great day, and thanks again for your report.
Kind Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin! Thx for the reply! Here's some more info about it (also yes the project did finish after about 40 minutes for 32 minutes of footage):
Steps to reproduce: 1- Insert footage into project and then onto the timeline. 2- Click the audio track and go to "Essential Audio" tab. 3- Select "speech" and proceed to edit some Reverb and Noise reduction in. 4- Click "ENHANCE" button and wait.
Expected result - Since it's supposed to be a CPU intensive workload, the CPU usage on task manager was supposed to go up to a meaningful amount and the CPU fan should kick in at high RPM.
Actual result - GPU usage remains on 0% while CPU never goes beyond 4%, staying most of the time at 1%.
