Hi Adobe Community,
I’m having trouble with .MTS files in Adobe Premiere Pro. The video imports correctly, but the audio is just loud static noise or high-pitched sounds.
Here are the details:
I’ve tried:
✔ Clearing media cache
✔ Changing audio channels (Mono/Adaptive)
✔ Using Media Browser (still same issue)
✔ Converting files works, but I want to use original format if possible
Can anyone help fix this without converting?
Thanks in advance!

Downgrade to Premiere Pro 25.2 will fix it.
Many people has the same problem and Adobe is aware of it but has not released any fix yet, but downgrading from 25.3 to 25.2 seems to work. I would delete all media cahce files and the media cahce database when downgrading.
Can anyone help fix this without converting?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi,
Sorry for the poor experience. Please check this article on how to roll back your Premiere Pro version: https://adobe.ly/3T6jHY4;
Thanks,
