Audio Glithing

Hello everyone,
after installing the latest windows update, I am having a problem with the audio in the track editor.
The audio is intermittent and I have tried opening an old project or creating a new one but the problem persists.

When I export the video or audio track the sound is fine. (Attached audio file)

Please help me as I have a lot of projects open.
