HI ALL!
My apologies, as I imagine I cannot find the answer myself as it is likely very obvious. But I for the life of me cannot figure out how to adjust the Audio Import Settings for premiere pro. Whenever I import a video with audio or any audio, I get one track. And that's not always ideal. I know that you can just right click and modify the audio channels. But I'm almost certain there is a setting/preference change that makes it automatic for any imported files with audio. I've search everywhere I can think, but I'm lost on it and it's mega frustrating.
Please let me know if anyone has the answer to this please!
Many thanks!

In the Preferences audio area is a place where you set default behavior for incoming media. Whether to create mono, stereo, adaptive, or use the same as the incoming file for that type of audio.
