Audio issues in Premier Pro

I opened a new project and wanted to drag the file in there for editing. Everything went well until I noticed
that the audio file had been moved for whatever reason. I then moved it correctly, but then it was no 
longer suitable in another place. The file itself is 100% synchronous. I put the file in to
After Effects and there came the same problem. A friend then threw the file into 
Davinchi Resolve and it worked.

It would be great if someone knows what's wrong and can help me.

Is this video and audio together? Is it a separate producton audio file that you have sync'd to video? You said it's synchronous so I'm just wondering what it is synchronized to?
