Audio not found at 00:00 - Win 11

Audio drifts in and out, disappears, come back on, then repeats the cycle, this warning pops up "Audio not found at 00:00" . . . . .I've tried changing audio format, from mp3 to wav. Already updated drivers, changed audio hardware settings. Using latest version of PPRO but I've also installed the beta version - same problem. Cannot continue work, needs fix asap!

Hey Eric,

What type of source files are you working with? Could you share your source file properties (Project Panel > Right-click on file > Properties). Please also let us know what device was used to record the audio. This will help us better understand the problem.

are any of your sources from a smart phone or screen recording?  If so the issue may be sources with a variable frame rate which can cause intermittent and unpredictable issues.

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate

if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate setting the quality slider in the video panel to maximum or use shutter encoder https://www.shutterencoder.com/en/ which allows you to transcode directly to prores or other mezzanine formats, "First choose a video codec.
Then in the "Advanced features" section check the box "Conform by:" and set your frame rate in images/seconds." from ShutterEncoders FAQ. You want to figure out what the original target frame rate of the smartphone or screen recording was and set to that in the conform dialog.

I'm having the same issue. tried to transcode them into different codecs with no luck camera audio and mics are not working either.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Are you using a Windows or a MacOS system? Do you see this issue with all projects and source files? Does launching Premiere Pro with plugins disabled help (https://adobe.ly/3YJOWMn;

Never easy to troubleshoot premiere problems from a distance so please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and if you have any 3rd party plugins installed for Premiere... Also, sequence settings and clip properties can also help. Although you can throw almost any format into premiere, some formats can be problematic, particularly on an underpowered system.

and in this case,  tell us your camera and media specs...    mediainfo is a very useful tool to find this info

I'm having the same issue except it's happening in the beta, not in v24.
