Audio out of sync after export

Hiya, I'm a real newbie and need some help. I had a zoom recording that I have edited together with some other footage. When I export it the audio slowly goes out of sync and the frames become really jerky.

In Premiere pro the footage is in sync. I have checked the frame rate and it is constant not variable.

Is anyone able to help? Would need it spelled out like a child 🙂

Thanks!

Can you post more information about the footage and your sequence settings. This is generally caused by a discrepancy between the two. There is a good chance you may need to "normalize" the footage with handbrake, which is essentially just getting it transcoded to a more "proper" framerate and audio rate that Premiere can work with better.

Sorry for the trouble. Could you follow some suggestions mentioned here? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-issues-with-screen-recorded-footage-in-premiere-pro/...

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Zoom footage is generally variable framerate which can cause out of sync issues on export even if the timeline sounds ok.

You can check variable framerate with MediaInfo.

Convert to constant framerate with Handbrake before bringing into Premiere.

Do not use AME!!

HandBrake
