Hello, I am running Premier Pro CS6 on an HP ENVY with an Intel Core i78565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99GHz. with 16GB RAM
I have had an issue (at times) with the audio/video synching after importing it.
EXAMPLE: I record 7 videos with my phone, and import them all. 6 of the 7 will be fine - no issues whatsoever. But the other one might be 'unsynched' (visually) while in the timeline. As I watch the segment, while the length of the audio and video are the same, and they are linked, but the video appears to be slower. If I watch the video alone in another player (VLC, RealPlayer etc) the video/synching is fine.
The particulat file in question this time is a 10.4GB file.
Should I just trust that it is indeed in synch? That perhaps it is a 'cache/GPU/RAM issue' but that it really is in synch?
Thanks!

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.
Phone footage tends to be of variable framerate which can cause out of sync issues: you can check this with MediaInfo

I am currently changing the framerate to constant. I saw that it was on 'Auto Framerate' on my phone., I turned that off - hopefully it will save me from converting it in the future.
I am using Handbrake, and as it was shot in 4K 60fps, I am converting it ot constant at 60FPS. I hope this fixes the issue.
Thank you. If it does not work, I will be back. (Ill be back either way once it is done)
Thanks again.

Yep, that was the issue I did not know that my phone was set to 'auto frame rate' The conversion worked (once I found the correct settings location in Handbrake) Thank you!
