Using a new iMac 27" on Sierra, Premiere CC latest updates. Have Canon C100 AVCHD footage. But in this case, camera format is not relevant.
No matter what type of audio I try to drop onto the timeline after initially creating the sequence, I can ONLY drop video clips on the timeline... This just started on this project, can't figure out why. I have a lot of interviews and with sync sound and I can only drop video tracks onto the timeline, no audio whatsoever. When I try to drag a video/audio clip, I get the little white hand with a circle and slash through it. I can add music, audio only files, but no video/audio combined files, despite format. Tried with H264, AVCHD, MOV variants, etc.
Help???

Wow that was amazingly simple. You'd think after 15 years I would have figured that out
