the original footage on my desktop has audio thats perfectly fine, but once in premiere pro, the audio gets louder, even though it says the audio has a gain of 0 db
That may be because the volume setting of the player is different from the setting in Premiere Pro.

im sorry if this doesnt relate to your comment since im new to premiere pro, but this issue started while i was making my project, and, when i go into a diffrent project and import a audio file, its completly fine. i tried matching up the sequence settings but that sitll didnt work
