I am keyframing text and scaling this very large and the letters have bad resolution. I use scale, can the resolution be improved? The file is rendered with high resolution 4K and maximum render quality vbr1.

I post an image of the large letters.

in this case, when you first create your legacy title, make its dimensions

bigger than your sequence settings and scale font size up to fit.. this way your text

won't loose quality when you keyframe its scale from motion properties..

hope it makes sense...

Hi Rolf5CB7,

Have you tried increasing the font size instead of scaling & checked if it's looking better? Also, have you nested the text layer that you are scaling? Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Try to scale Vector Motion instead of Motion from the Effect Controls panel,

you can also increase font size as mentioned by Sumeet, and if you have

your text nested inside a sequence, do not scale the sequence, scale the

actual text graphics instead. you can also scale from "Transform" under

text properties as well.

Thanx!

I will try this. I am keyframing the text so is there a way to keyframe the fontsize linear? I dont find this, its a stepvise process, not linear? I will try the vector scaling, that sounds good. Is not scaling with Transform the same as just scaling?

for keyframing, use Vector Motion and/or Transform from text properties,

but never scale from Motion, it will not preserve text quality.

Yes, vector is working. However I am making metalic letters and for this I need to change inner/outer strokes and use the Depth, I find these in the Title properies but in Title properties I can not find the vector? In the essentials graphix panel I can use vector but in this I dont find all the parameters like inner iuter stroke, Depth?

if you click on the text in Essential Graphics, its properties will appear.

Now to keyframe, use the Effect Controls Panel, you can keyframe scale

using Vector Motion or the Scale under Transform under Text properties

Thanx, can you show me where in the essential graphics I can find parameters like inner, outer Stroke, Depth, Angle? I need this to make my text metalic. I only find these in the Title editor.

If I click on a title created in the Title editor, it will not appear in the essential graphics panel, instead the Title editor opens. There are functions like inner outer strokes, depth, angle that I need to use and these are not yet available in the essential graphics panel. At the same time vector scaling is not available in the Title editor. I need to use inner outer strokes, depth, angle and also vector scaling in the title.

can this be solved?
