Barn doors

Hey guys, I usually use barn doors for my opening scenes, but not it's working improperly. I slowed it down for a more cinematic look but all it does is repeat the door open in my first scene? Is there any way to fix this problem?

yes but anything after one second, the barn doors just flicker and open at about 3 seconds of the clips instead of the first begining.

Did you render the timeline so that there is a green line instead of red above the timeline?

For some reason the barn door tansistion is not working properly. When you extend the time on the barn door, it will run backward or flicker, or just run it twice in a faster speed. Seem to be an adobe issue.

What you can do it make your own sliding barn door efftact. Just make adjustment layer, then put it on your time line. Then go to your Effect panel and type in crop, put the crop effect under transistion on to your adjustment layer. Then to to your effect contols and look for the crop "FX crop" clock on the stop watch and put it at 50% do the same with the bottom crop. then reset it to 0% to both top and bottom at your desire time. Boom! your own barn door transistion.
