Black Magic not an Option in Playback

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

We are running PP 2025.3 on Mac 14.7.6 with Desktop Video driver 14.5 on two different iMacs, same spec.  We have Blackmagic playback on one but not the other.  Oddly we see the Black Magic option in the Audio Hardware section.  We've also played video back in Blackmagic Media Express with out issue.  Desktop Video has been uninstalled and reinstalled as have PP.  Is there something that we're missing?

Thank you,

Rory

I found a solution on another post

For anyone wanting a solution that doesn't involve rolling back - the Blackmagic driver files are available in:

/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/Blackmagic DeckLink/CS7

You can copy them straight into:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

Premiere Pro 2025 will now have your Decklink available in Mercury Transmit - assume it's a bug with the BM Desktop Video installer
