Hi, when I start grading my red footage, after a couple of tweaks my screen turns black? #premieresucks

Not a very useful post unfortunately. Troubleshooting this sort of thing always involves knowing a lot of details ... the OS, the computer including CPU/RAM/GPU, the drives used by type and for what, and any other effects used.
Without that, no one can even begin to guess what's happening in your situation.

okay so,
Windows 11
Ryzen 5900K 16 Cores, 32 Threads 4.5GHZ
64GB DDR4 CL16 RAM, 4 x 16
Mobo Asus Dark Hero VIII
RTX MSI 2070 Super
Windows OS Drive: Samsung 980 2TB Pro, 7000 MB read; 5000 MB write
Editing Drive: 2x Crucial P5 2TB, 5000 MB read; 5000 MB write. Drives in raid 0.
All drivers are up to date.
No effects used just a 1080p timeline with 6K R3D footage with some lumetricolor on.
This pc isn't weak so, idk why this is happening.

Which driver on that GPU? A whole string of Nvidia drivers after 517.40 were problematic. Apparently one released a couple days ago is finally working correctly.
I don't recall the number on it though.
And yea, nice rig there!

Game Driver and Studio Driver 528.24

The game drivers typically add a bunch of 'helper' utility files & apps for game playing, that are at times problematic for video editing.
I've known of people that had installed the game drivers and Geforce Experience ... and had to uninstall everything and then do a clean install of ONLY the Studio driver to get their system working correctly.
So if you are working even with the studio driver, you might want to remove all Nvidia from your machine, and do a 'clean' install of that latest Studio driver. May not work, but then ... it might.

Took a while cause I was busy editing projects but now I had time. I did a clean install on pc, windows reset + only installed the studio driver. Did not work sadly

Good afternoon, REFECTl,
The community appreciates the update. Happy Saturday. I'm one of the community managers here; just popping in to see what's going on this rainy afternoon. Welcome to the Adobe Premiere Pro community.
Are you speaking about the new drivers or 517.40 or the 528.24 drivers, please? Try downgrading to 517.40 with a clean reinstall of the studio drivers. Please also try a 6K sequence with settings that match your footage as a test for your "black screen problem," as scaling affects the Mercury Playback Engine's performance. Odd, I know. I found that working at the native resolution and having matching sequence settings is easier on your computer than a scaled down one. I wonder if that would help diagnose the issue.
Thanks,
Kevin

Allright I will downgrade asap! About the native seq resolution, since we shoot at various resolutions with the red 4k,5k,6k to crop in, is it not very easy. I will try it tho and give an update asap

Thank you!
Sorry! I realize a native sized sequence is not ideal for your specific workflow. It is only a test to see if scaling might be the thing causing poor performance.
Regarding the older driver, others are reporting no issues with it. I am running an even older driver and my workflow is rock solid. NVIDIA has released some drivers that have been faulty when using them with Premiere Pro, unfortunately.
Thanks,
Kevin

Been a while but I've tested the older drivers now but still no result. Interesting fact when my screen turns black when grading, I can still scrub in the footage and it will show an image. Only when the footage is paused it is a black screen. So I can hit play and I receive an image. Just very stupid when grading..
