Bug when cutting clips in MultiCam Sequence

There seems to be an issue/bugs that's been going on for quite some time in the multicam tool. Whenever I go through my multicam clips and make all my cuts, sometimes I want to trim off some excess time at the very end of the multicam clip. This includes trimming off both the audio and the video. However, as soon as I trim the audio clip, it trims off the very first video clip as well, which leaves an unintended gap (see picture below)

To work around this, I've had to unlink the audio from the video, trim the excess audio, then relink it. While this works, it is rather annoying and slows down my workflow.
