I want to take grabs from video but the button editor menu is not available on the source window. How do I get it back? Is it a bug or is there a setting to get it back?

Make sure Transport controls are turned on (wrench)
or
Premiere is having a fit: Reset Preferences.

Hi @Planet5E78,
I read your post and I think I see the issue. I have it too. It is noticeable if you have a smaller monitor or are in a workspace where the Source Monitor doesn't have enough screen real estate. Try this: expand the Source Monitor to the right and the "+" button should appear. Does that work for you? Let us know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Regardless of the the window size the button is always visible (at least on my window machine).

Hey @Ann Bens,
Thanks for the message. Hope you are well! I tried the same thing and got the behavior you just described. Then, I could not reproduce the issue the OP talked about. I did beforehand, though. Weird! I will keep an eye on this issue. It might be a bug.
Thanks,
Kevin

If there are no transport controls there is no button editor either.
