C500mkII Proxy Workflow

Hey everyone,

So the C500mkII makes its own proxies, saved with the same file name appended with a "_P". Premiere seems to be fine with relinking to "normal" clips (or at least I can rename the raw clips if I need) but in Slowmo the Proxies are saved with 4 tracks of (blank) audio and the raw footage doesn't have any. Premiere refuses to swap those clips in due to the audio track mis-match.

Anyone have an idea as to how I can "force" Premiere to link those Slowmo clips?

Hi OWL BOT,

Sorry about that. Can you try to modify the clip's audio channels to add two more tracks? Try adaptive tracks. After modifying the clips so that they have 4 audio channels see if the proxies will attach. Let me know if it works.

Thanks,
Kevin

I can't modify the raw files without saving them as something other than raw. The issue is that all the proxies generated by the camera and regular-speed raw files have 4 channels and the slow-mo raw files have 0 channels.

What do you mean by try adaptive tracks? I'm unfamiliar with that.

All that being said, do you think modifying the slow-mo proxies to have 0 audio tracks would work? It should also be said that I'm using the "Reconnect Files" dialogue for this, or was in this case.
