Can I create instructions for Premiere such as "if video clip is moved to track 2, also move audio"

Contributor ,

I have a variety of questions about this kind of thing, but for the first post I will stick to something simple. I've got a clip with associated audio. its on video track 1, and audio track 1. when I move the video clip to video track 2, I want the audio to move to audio track 2 automatically, rather than having to do each move manually.

Please and thanks!

This is a feature for the audio not to follow the video or v.v.

(A very long time it used to follow but no I would not have it any other way).

Move the video to the desired track.

don't let go of the mouse and hold down CTRL+shift

Grab the audio and move to desired track.
