I shot four minutes of a large group singing on iPhone 15 Pro at 4K 60p in ProRes Log with the standard camera app. The 4-minute file was 37 GB, oh boy. But the quality when I converted to rec.709 in Premiere using the Freelog plugin was stunning. I tried exporting to H.265 with high-quality settings and the export took about 5 1/2 hours. Ouch. PC specs: Intel i5 12600K, RTX 3060, 32 GB RAM, fast Samsung SSDs. Sure would like to shorten the export time! But wow, the quality was really good.
