Can't Change Output Gain in Audio Track Mixer

I'm working in Premiere Pro 2022 on Windows 10. I have a DV NTSC sequence with a Multiband Compressor (Broadcast Preset), DeNoise, and Highpass effects on the Audio Track Mixer. When I first applied the Compressor I added a 10db Output gain and a -3 db margin to prevent peaking.

Now I'm trying to adjust the output gain to 5db for the entire sequence and it's not adjusting. As soon as I change the gain, it returns back to 10db as I continue playing through the timeline. Also, along the timeline, the output gain goes up to 13db, and back down to 10db. I don't see any keyframes or a place where I can adjust keyframes for output gain.

Any suggestions?

If you vertically expand the Mix track you should be able to click the little keyframe icon and check the effects to see if there is any kind of animation going on with them. It's not that easy to accidentally add a keyframe to that track but take a look here to see if there is anything under that Output Gain or whatever parameter you're struggling with.

Having one of these Automation Modes turned on accidentally may be something that could get you some unwanted keyframes on the track:

The wrong screenshots were sent. Take a screenshot of Track Mixer, where the sound in the channels is displayed. There maybe you have a problem why the sound is coming back.

You're trying to change the output gain of the Compressor effect, or of the Output for the Track Mixer?

As it looks like you're trying to change merely the Compressor's output ...

If I change the output gain of the compressor effect, it also changes the output gain for track mixer at the same time. Like I said before though, no matter what I change it to, it always goes back to 10db.

The only fix I can tell is to remove the Multiband Compressor from the track mixer and apply it again with the new desired output gain level.
