can't drag & drop aep, prpoj or mp4 files

Hi there

I have a big problem:

Neither AEP sequences – even exported as a Premiere project – nor MP4 files (created with Adobe Rush) can be dragged onto the timeline after importing into Adobe Premiere Pro: drag & drop doesn't work.

All programs are up to date, including my Mac OS.

I can drag other files (PNG) onto the timeline without any problems.

Can anyone help? I'm getting desperate...

if you can import .mp4 files to the project panel but can't

drag and drop into the timeline, try to reset the preferences.

Concerning AEP sequences, you mean you exported them as mogrt?

You have to install motion graphics templates from the Graphics Templates panel.

Thank you. I didn't know of these motion graphic tamplets. Is that ontop the normal configuraton of premiere? It's not mentioned anywhere ...!
AEP I tried to import as file, which was saved in aep as to import in premiere.

It worked now, but not as drag & drop - I had to convert the importet aep-file into a sequence. Then I copied the sequenze clip (the aep-clip) into my (main) timeline ...

you can use dynamic link between premiere pro and after effects.

so you can right click any clip on your premiere pro timeline and

choose 'replace with after effects composition' if that is your desired workflow.

If export to premiere pro project is not working from after effects, make sure

you have the same updated last versions of both premiere pro and after effects.
