Can’t find transform is effect controls

So u can't find the option transform is effects controls when I select a clip

The Transform effect is found in the Effects Panel ... type "transform" in the search bar at the top of the Effects panel and it will show you where it is.

Then either drag it to a clip on a sequence, or if a clip is selected already, you can double-click the effect and it will be applied.

Then you go into the Effects Control Panel to set it as you wish.

The Effects Control Panel is not the same as the Effects Panel.

The Effects Control Panel is the one that has Motion Properties, Opacity, and other effects that were placed on the clip using the Effects Panel.

If I understand this correctly Transform icon in the Effect Controls is long gone.
