Can't get Web-DVD running (Index empty?!)

Hi,

I just created a Web DVD with Encore 5.1 on a mac and build a flash DVD aka Web DVD.

The build flashdvd.swf is all right and when I start it in the flash player everything is just like i want it to.

But clicking on index.html results to .... nothing!

I tried it with a template. Then all you see is the blank template page without anything else.

I tried it without template. Then, everything you see is a grey page.

I checked it with Safari, Firefox and on a PC using IE. Always the same result.

The index.html page is also just 1041 bite big.

So how can I fix that?

Do I have to create a index.html page with a other program like Webaccapella responsive that I use to create my website?

That is the correct size for the index.htm.

I suspect this is your problem:

The flash update last November strengthened local security settings. A setting change allows them to work again.

See "Disabling local-with-filesystem access in Flash Player by default" on this page:

Thanks!

I tried it for hours and could't figure it out.

It's now working with firefox. Safari does just show the flash without playing. But that is probably another restriction or setting that I need to set right.

Well, never did a Web DVD before and I guess there won't be too many customers in the future. 😉

AFAIK Flash is not supported in Mac OS is it?

WebDVD has been a dead duck for years now - it never really got off the ground. Shame really as there was a lot of potential.
