Can't Move Playhead While Video is Playing in Timeline After Zooming In or Out

Usually when the video is playing in the timeline, I can reposition the playhead without needing to pause the video with spacebar. However, it seems if I zoom in or out witt alt + scroll while the video is playing, I am no longer able to move the playhead without pausing. I've attached a video below showing the issue.

Just an update, this also happens whenever I scroll in general, it doesn't seem specific to zooming in or out.
