Can't Move Video Clip to Another Track

Hi,

I have a clip on track 5 that I want to move to track 4. For some reason Premiere isn't letting me do this ridiculously simple thing...a thing I have done a million times before. There is no audio attached to this clip and the tracks are enabled. What gives? I'm pulling my hair out here! CC 13.0.2 Mac.

Thanks!

Sorry I forgot to mention that I can however drag it to track 3. Why not 4?! It's got to be some stupid setting I'm missing.

Thanks!

Thanks but this doesn't answer my question unfortunately. I'm trying to drag a clip within the timeline to a different track. Everything is patched correctly and all the video tracks are turned on.

Here you go! The clip in Violet it the one I want to move. I've tried unlinking, deselecting and reselecting, targeting tracks etc. I have no idea. I can move it to different tracks but just not track 4. Thanks!

Might be a corrupt sequence, Wendiweb. Try copy/pasting clips into a brand new sequence. If that won't work, try a new project and a new sequence.

Thanks,
Kevin
