This morning I updated Premiere Pro and now I can't open any of my old or recent projects.

I am experiencing the same. I open the project but it gives me a blank screen. I can use the windows drop-down to open/see windows with my project but the layout is not as it should be.
If i open a new project all looks right BUT old projects do not.
See attached. OpenProj shows blank screen when opening a project.
The openProjWindow image shows what happens when i clicked window...monitor
Any insight??

What about clearing your preferences? Reset to default.
Hold down Alt while you start PP.

Could you list the Pr versions that did open the project (i.e. Were you using Pr 22.6 beta to open the project prior or 22.5 release or other older versions).

I haven't been using any Beta versions. I always upgrade to the newest public release when notified by Creative Cloud, so I must have been using 22.5 or whatever was the previous version.
Thanks

Under Window>Workspaces>Import Workspace from Projects menu item, is this item enabled or disabled? Try changing the setting to the opposite (i.e. if it is enabled, enable it; or if is enabled, disable it. Just click the menu item to enable/disable the setting).

Had a chat session with Adobe. They had me rename the premiere pro folders in documents and appData folders. Then allow Premiere to regenerate those folders. That worked. Then i copied the settings/presets folders back to the folder in appData. that retained all my presets, shortcuts and layouts.
