Hi,

I am editing a video onto some music, which means the video has to be very time-specific.

It plays one video, but then I need to play another one at 00:00:06:85.

When I type that for the position of the playhead it skips to the end of the video. If I drag the playhead time or playhead itself, the time as I drag skips straight from 00:00:06:23 to 00:00:07:00. I am very confused.

LATEST

00.00.00.00 = hours minutes seconds frames.

00:00:06:23 to 00:00:07:00

This is 1 frame

your framerate is most likely 23,976/24 fps (frames per second).

So in short, 85 frames does not exist.

Best is to line up your audio to the video.

You can edit video per frame, as for audio 1/48000 of a sec if timeline is set to Audio Units.
