Can't "reveal in project" clips in a timeline in a Production

Right-clicking on a clip in the timeline and selecting "reveal in project" is a feature I use so often, I've given it a custom shortcut. However, I'm unable to do so on certain clips in the timeline, even though the clips come from the same project as others in the timeline. I'm working in a Production for the first time, so maybe I'm missing something.

I tried replacing them, but the same result. I am replacing them from a project that lives within the production, to be clear. If it makes a difference, I'm dealing with multicam clips.

What gives? Running 24.6.1 on macOS sequoia.

UPDATE: Sometimes it works, but I have to drag the clip onto the timeline 3, 4, sometimes 5 times. WTF? Is this a bug? I have to drag and drop 3-4 dozen clips onto a timeline 3-5x apiece for things to work properly?

This is helpful, and good to note for the future, but it didn't solve my problem. Fortunately I figured out what did – another editor had taken audio and linked it to the multicam clips. Premiere couldn't "reveal in project" because I was unknowingly selecting two pieces of media at the same time, rather than a single piece like I thought.

It could be a problem if you're trying to reveal a nested multi cam sequence in project.

If the clip "lives" in a different project of the Production, then you can't use "reveal" to find it.

This is an oft noted, always lamented lack in the Productions workflow.

Sometimes, the link between multi-camera source sequences can be lost between projects in a Production, especially if the multi-camera source sequence was created manually.

Try moving the edit sequence to the project where the multicam originated, and then test Reveal in Project there. This may help to refresh the link. Once it’s working, you can move the sequence back to its original project.
