Can't replace clip and keep trim/speed setting

Hi, I am new to Adobe Premiere.

I am creating a video where I have two videos side by side. The input material is two different walkthrough-videos of an architectural model, with the same camera path and same settings, just different buildings.

I have tweaked the first clip (left) with speed adjustments and trims, and I have duplicated it so that I can replace it with my other film. However, the replacement keeps the speed adjustments, but does not trim correctly (instead the replaced video starts from the beginning)

Any idea of how to solve this? (the duplicated clip that lacks the trim setting is marked in red)
