Can't sync settings

Since April 16th 2023, I can't sync my settings and still don't know why. I removed and reinstalled everything, cleaned everything, disconnected from everywhere, nothing works.

 

I thought the version 24 would solve the problem but not at all, now when I try to sync i get this " error -516 " then Premiere crashes (as usual), and on the pevious version I had " error -0 ".

 

Can someone in the community help me with this please ?

 

I don't count on Adobe for any solutions because y'all know... they will tell me to send screenshots and never respond and do nothing, or ask me about PC specs even if the software is clearly the problem.

i too have always trouble with syncing settings.
Copy everthing over from 2023.

I've had problems off and on with syncing. And from sorting this out, it tends to be a permissions issue. But as there are something like five or six folder trees that stuff is synced from, it took some hunting.

Thanks for the advice, I tried enabling all permissions for the documents/Adobe folder but nothing doing i'm afraid. Fresh install on a Macbook Pro, surely this can't be beyond Adobe to fix.

If it's a permissions issue on your computer, then ... no, Adobe can't fix it. Premiere does not have 'authority' to change disc read/write permissions. And I know quite a few Mac users have reported needing to sort out security/permissions things to get full performance out of Pr besides this.

 

Yea, it's a pain.

Hmm well all permissions look fine to me. It's a fresh install on a fresh Macbook Pro so thinking it must be something else
