Hello,
It seems like you are now unable to make a new marker in a section of the Timeline where there is already a range of markers? Using Premiere 22.6.2.
I used to do this all the time to make sound cues (ex mark a range for ambience, and then within that range, mark another range for footsteps). Is this no longer possible in the new version of Premiere, or is there something in settings that I'm not seeing? Anytime I try to create a new marker within a pre-existing marker range, it just opens up the pre-existing marker range.

Are you using Sequence or Clip markers?
If clip, then deselect all, tap M and you get a sequence marker.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm referring solely to sequence markers, and being able to make "overlapping" ones like you used to be able to.
