Cannot get rid of clip fx editor

Deep into an edit, have made many paste attribute edits to audio clips

And cannot see my timeline at all now because the "clip fx editor", aka edits ive made to audio clips opens the editor for every clip. 

is there truly not a way to get rid of this so we can edit?

Ok, the only way to do this is to deselect the targeting button of the offending audio track.
