Cannot work normally in Premiere Pro

I am trying to work in adobe premiere pro, but the content does not refresh until I save the project and exit it.

I am on Windows 11 with the newest updates of Windows and Adobe Premiere.

Please help me with this, because I feel like I am about to pass out from the rage

My specs are:

11th gen Intel core i5-11400 @ 2.60 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

16 GB of RAM

And it's happening with ALL media files
