I hope someone can help me because I`m going C-R-A-A-A-A-A-Z-Y!
I have shot an interview with 2 people on my Canon C70, when Import the files in Premiere and drag them to the timeline this happens:
Screenshot 1
This is what it´s supposed to happen, I remove channel 3 and 4 from the timeline since I don´t need them, and am left with 2 channels. The audio is split between the two people talking. Good, I`ve always done so and never had a problem.
Screenshot 2
This is what I don´t understand!
The clips are shot within 2 minutes from eachother and NO settings were changed in camera.
I Premiere I do the EXACT same procedure, I import the clip on the timeline, right click - > audio channels and I get 32(!) audio channels.
On top of that, if I decide to ignore the 32 channels and just select Media Source 1 - Ch 1 and Media Source 2 - Ch 2, the second audio channel shows the same waveform as channel 1 and on top of that is muted.
I have tried making a new sequence, I have tried reimporting everything again in Premiere, but out of 6 clips, this one always gives me the same error, and I don´t understand why.
I am using proxies, have always done and never had any problem with that, could that be an issue and how could it be solved?
Appreciate any help 🙂
