Hi!
My problem is this: I need to change the playback speed of several clips that are in sequence in the timeline, with no space between each clip, to 60% of the original speed. The problem is that when I select all clips and change the value of the playback speed, the total playback time remains the same. That is, each clip plays it to 60% of the original speed but the surplus time of each clip is automatically cut. Is there any way to make this change with the automatic increase of the total playback time? I have already tried to activate and disable the gang button but it doesn't work.

Did you try it with "Ripple Edit, Shifting Trailing Clips" checked?

Another way to change speed:

Right click on the selected clips and choose nest to create a new sequence.

Then change the clip speed of the nested sequence.

This doesn't supersede the advice by gerikp .
