Change colors of multiple Markers?

Is there a way to change the color of multiple markers all at once?

(or names, comments, etc?)

In Avid, you can select multiple markers in the MARKERS window and click change color.

In Premiere, it seems like you have to go one by one.

I use this frequently, because I'm often watching 20-30 takes of a scene,

and I want to place a red marker for each instance of a specific line--

other colors for other lines, etc.

Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks.

This is possible! I just figured it out.

You have to create a keyboard shortcut. The command you are looking for is "Set Marker {Color}" - "Set Marker Orange", "Set Marker Cyan", etc.
Once you have created this keyboard shortcut (I chose Ctrl + O for "Set Marker Orange"), select all markers you would like to change in the 'Markers' window, then hit your new shortcut. Voila!

I want to second this request. I work with projects which have dozens of markers (many well over 100). I need the ability to select multiple markers and change their color. I currently use the markers window to search for keywords, which brings up all relevant markers, but I have to select each one individually to change their colors.

There is a forum where adobe teams are working especially dedicated for users ideas. If someone can put the link, I think too that it is something very important to be able to change the color of the markers.

This isn't working for me. Is there a specific mode I need to be in for it to take?

@Gabriel33034976lxue, no, there isn't a specifc mode you need to be in. But you need to be in the "Markers" window (not the timeline). That window is where you select the markers you want to change and then hit your newly created keyboard shortcut.

Hi @Gabriel33034976lxue,

See if Show Source Clip Name and Label is enabled from the Timeline Settings (the wrench/spanner) and see if that is enabled. Does that help? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Sorry @Gabriel33034976lxue. I'm not sure how else to explain what to do or how to troubleshoot it for you without more information. Maybe a screenshot showing the markers you are trying to change? And a screenshot of the shortcuts you have created in the Keyboard Shortcuts window. Perhaps with those, I could ascertain what's different in your setup from mine.
